Actually we were quoting a comment similar to the one you made from our early days of blogging… kind of an in-joke I suppose.

That said, if you had seen the gun collection of one of our US contributors, 50 cal sniper rifles probably does qualify as ‘heavily armed’.

To have ‘robber baron’ capitalism you have to have a political system make some people legally untouchable and which raises barriers to competition by new market entrants… so if you think we support the idea of crony capitalism, then you must have mistaken us for some other folks. If you are going to be critical of us, please make sure you know what we really want.

And to suggest we like the idea of vigilantes(i.e. so called vigilance committees who administer summary punishments) when we really only want people to have the right to defend themselves from attack, then I can only assume you have not taken the time to read what we really advocate. In reality what we want is really not wildly radical.

And by the way… what does “heavily armed” mean? Bazookas? Tanks? Artillery? I think you will find we are quite prepared to settled for lightly armed with just a measly 9mm handgun.
