“You’re sexist if you don’t agree with me that the next Dr Who should be a woman” is the geek culture equivalent of “If you prefer metal to hip-hop then you’re a racist”. Is this a variation of the “No True Scotsman” fallacy?

I’d love to see a female Dr. Who. That doesn’t mean I think everyone else who doesn’t is a sexist pig.
Why do these discussions always turn into zero-sum games?
I wouldn’t say the next Dr. Who should be a woman necessarily. But I’d say you are a sexist if you think no Dr. Who should be a woman.
Now that we have that established, let’s vote on the candidates.
TILDA SWINTON.
You’re sexist if you don’t agree with me that the next Dr Who *could* be a woman.
“Could” and “must”. Two different words.
Nobody is going to win any arguments by citing “continuity”. This is Dr Who, after all…
But I’ve seen a good argument from a feminist blogger (can’t find the link now) suggesting the The Doctor is too good a male role model to lose.
