The two day event worked well from our point of view and we are looking to repeat that again next year. I was glad to see some new and old faces, always the bests parts of any con!

I played in the other two games, both run by Neil. The first was a Stargate game where we were the Russian SG4 team exploring a new world. Having already come up against some Jaffa, we found some strange pyramids and moved in to explore to find ourselves in the Aliens v Predator scenario. We couldn’t get out of there quickly enough. In fact one third of us including me didn’t make it all the way out.

The second game was a Marvel SuperHeroes game set in Ancient Greece where we were embrioled in helping Hercules sort out his offspring and avert a war. The final battle against the enemy champions was great and took all our ingenuity – and some luck on the dice!
