I bet the champagne corks were popping in the council chamber as they signed off on this, behind closed doors… Let’s watch them move on to other targets – I bet their greedy eyes are already eyeing up the beautiful old train terminal, thinking of all the luxury apartments their developer friends could build on such a prime site. Where other people see irreplaceable heritage and a world class tourist attraction, they only see short term gain and a photo opportunity
