Its completely pointless and a ridiculous price. Different versions of the some of the classic songs are always interesting to hear, but there doesn’t seem to be much of that in the set. And do many rock fans have any interest in CD singles of material that appears on the albums? I’ve got the excellent Weiss Heim on a download, so I’ll check out Final Vinyl to see what the other two unreleased tracks are. The first album, in particular, was one of the great albums of the 70s and one I still play fairly regularly.

Although they couldn’t maintain the levels of the Dio albums, I thought Down To Earth was a good album and Graham Bonnet was a good vocalist for them. But JLT had a very weak voice in comparison to what had gone on before and the couple of live things don’t have any appeal to me.

I just saw them one time. Wembley Arena in 1980. Still got the ticket, it was £4.50.
