		<description><![CDATA[I remember the ridiculous early 90s hype about who was the so-called  &quot;best British band&quot;out of Oasis and Blur year after year. Of course, none of them were. But it was another dire decade for music following on from the equally bad 80s. I thought all the Blur records were awful (still do), but Oasis always capable of knocking out a few good tunes. If you can can put up Liam&#039;s vocal.

And there&#039;s a few decent tunes on Definitely Maybe. Those you&#039;ve mentioned above, Columbia and Supersonic. I certainly wouldn&#039;t call it a classic album, but it was a good album in the context of the era it was  released. The second album, Morning Glory, was undoubtebly the high point of their career before they seemed to lose their way.  I can see an Oasis reunion somewhere down the line in a huge fanfare of publicity. It&#039;ll be a nice money spinner for the boys. Don&#039;t think they&#039;ll have anything much to offer, though.]]></description>
