I thought similar things when reading a piece about how The Beatles’ stuff was finally on digital services years ago. One of their children was quoted as saying something along the lines of ‘well it took so long because we wanted to make sure that there was reasonable compensation to the artists…’ etc. And I’m left thinking ‘dude, your father’s dead. What did you do to deserve such generous remuneration?’
