I’m completely with you on this one. I love a female-fronted rock band. But that’s because, most of the time, I prefer the sound of a female vocalist. And there’s an increasing number of girl guitarists out there, some of them still to break through, who are truly great exponents of their craft. I don’t think too many of them would want any involvement in this kind of circus.

Definitely! It’s not even as if Arch Enemy have anything in common musically with those bands. Madness tbh.

That sort of rumour is all too easy to believe, sadly. I bet all the female artists we both know have plenty of horrible stories of music business sexism they’ve had to deal with.

I heard a rumour (and I stress that that is all this is..) that Revolver said to Angela Gossow that if Arch Enemy refused to be on this tour then they would not cover them in future!
