Festival isn’t a total loss, but (for my tastes at least) not a patch on 2011 or 2012.

I don’t think we’re going to get a bill as forward-looking as last year, but I’m holding out hope that we get a least a couple of good bands in the remaining slots on Saturday and Sunday. The festival bill already has plenty of retro meat-and-potatoes blues-rock.

If I want to ‘old’ stuff I can listen to my album collection. But that’s not the music I am listening to today.

I want new exciting music.
