Mostly Autumn announced today that Anne-Marie will be joining them for a special gig in York on June 22nd.

Ought to say that nobody has ruled out Anne-Marie returning to Mostly Autumn next year. I get the feeling that it’s Gavin’s commitments to Fish this year that are causing the scheduling conflicts. Next year circumstances may be different.

It’s very sad indeed, but quite understandable.
For me Anne-Marie’s flute solos and harmonisations were a joy. The Last Climb has always been a particular delight and I hope the band find a way to include flute parts into future work but that does seem doubtful.
Let’s hope she goes onto even greater success with Panic Room and as a solo artist.
