It may be time for a moratorium on new CD purchases until I’ve had the time to properly listen to all those I’ve bought over the past few weeks.

I’m in the same boat. I have a backlog of stuff I haven’t listened to properly, in part because I’ve been bad about making the time to do so. You really need a lot of undivided attention to give an album you care about the justice it deserves.
I know that feeling. I’m limiting myself to just one a month but even then it’s difficult to give them the listening time they deserve.
