I agree with all of your comments Tim. Magenta's studio work is excellent but live they're a different beast. For me what characterises a Magenta performance is the sheer amount of fun they have on stage - both with each other and with the audience. I knew that Chris Fry occasionally went walkabout, but I had never experienced it first hand until Bilston. For me, that made Demons the highlight of the set, along with Pearl. It was probably the best Magenta performance I have seen. As you say, it's great to have them back.
