I think this is a first. The Guardian’s best albums of 2015, and my own end-of-year list have one record in common. Can you guess what it is without looking at the two lists?

    I’m guessing it’s the Pope.

    More probably, Iron Maiden. I suspect that these days they are the “respectable” face of heavy metal.

    I’m going for Steven Wilson’s Hand. Cannot. Erase. Only because you posted the Guardian giving it five stars versus Gallagher’s 3 star effort.

    I reckon it might be Dave Gilmour
