A question for prog fans. What’s the verdict on Steve Hackett’s “Genesis Revisited II”? There’s no doubting the quality of the original songs, but do you think the new recordings add anything to the original recordings?

For the most part they seem to be note-for-note with the guitar track turned up a bit.
That was my feeling. Occasionally the vocals are a slightly different style, and sometimes there are a few additional guitar overdubs, but they’re not reworkings or reimaginings of the originals.
Will probably sell in bigger quantities that his other recent albums, though.
