“Tony Blair, Motorhead fan”.
I’m still mulling over the implications of this one, and which Mötorhead songs might have inspired our glorious leader. “Overkill”? “Bomber”? “Killed By Death”? Surely not “Eat The Rich”….

Fame at last! This post of mine on Blogcritics about a rather nasty fundamentalist website slandering the dead of the Great White fire tragedy got Instapundited this morning.
I’ve been experimenting with the blogroll, and changed the sort order from alphabetical to most recently updated.
Of course, this means that those sites that don’t ping weblogs.com will sink the bottom of the list.
There are a couple of Moveable Type blogs that aren’t showing up as updated, among them Scott, and Patrick Crozier’s Transport Blog. Don’t know if that’s because I’ve got the wrong URL in the blogroll, or if the sites aren’t pinging weblogs.com. Probably the former.
Brian Micklethwait sings the praises of the new Swiss Re building in London, otherwise known as the Erotic Gherkin.
I remember seeing it, still under construction, from a Thameslink train passing through the centre of London, and the two friends I was travelling with had never heard it described thus. It’s certainly a dramatically different building, unlike the bland square blocks or historical pastiches we’ve been used to recent years.
Of course, when I see the words “Swiss Re”, I expect it to be followed with either “4/4″ or “6/6″. If you’re wondering why, go here.
Just read it!. Probably the funniest thing you’ll read all day. And on reading it, I think I’ll stick to trains. (Link from Making Light)
I forgot to put this up yesterday, just like I forgot to get my article in by the deadline. D’oh!
Anyway, this week’s Carnival of the Vanities can be found at Kesher Blog!
OK, so who’s the joker that game me a remove vote on Blizg?
I notice that so far the only blogs with similar keywords are in my blogroll already, Scott and Julia. Where is everybody else?
Can someone who’s familiar with Mozilla tell me what’s going wrong with this display of this weblog on Mozilla? There seems to be something about the Issares/SJG press release that it doesn’t like; other archive posts all seem to look OK.
Carnival of the Vanities #22 now up at The Peoples Republic of Seabrook
If it had been British, it would be celebrating it’s third anniversary of being old enough to drink! Carnival of the Vanities #21 can be found at Dissecting Leftism. Blogspot archives being what they are, you may have to scroll down to find it!
