Compared with Ajax-based web applications it doesn&#039;t half look dated and clunky.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I dunno. I have the distinct feeling if Flash hadn&#039;t come along, something else would have ended up serving the same function. Or, worse, a congeries of other things would have covered the same territory in piecemeal fashion.

I have to say that after switching to Chrome, with its built-in Flash component, and after disabling Flash by default, my problems with Flash have gone down to about zero.]]></description>
