I heard a rumour that Jeremy Clarkson and Zayn Malik are going to collaborate on a new project – it’s called either One Gear or Top Direction.
That is if Clarkson doesn’t take up the offer of hosting a motoring show for the TV channel run by the Russian Defence Ministry. “There’s lots to like about this tank, but there is a problem – no cup holders!” or “… it’s time to hand it over to our tame Spetsnaz driver, Stigski!”
Actually, the more I think about it, the more sense it makes ….
And instead of listening to music …
“This week Stigski is drinking Siberian vodka”
or
“This week Stigski is using an AK74 to shoot at dissidents.”
Alternatively, make Top Gear all about trains and have someone like Captain Sensible as the host.
Only problem might be “Reasonably-priced train ticket”, because there aren’t many….
What a great April Fool by the Guardian!
